AGM 2019

We need your help. Our membership is core to our charity and this is your opportunity to get involved and find out about our future plans and how this will benefit the community.

As a charity we need to know that you are happy with what we doing We need our members to attend our agms so that they can aprove our previous finances and yearly report detailing what have been doing  is aproved . Once this has happened we can report back to the charity commision on how we are doing.

The charity is managed and supported by volunteers who give them time freely to enable  the Scrapstore to keep going,.
As a charity we have to comply to a set of rules which includes asking our members to aprove our  finace report and yearly report at out annual genral meeting , unfortunatly we didnt have enough members attend  our agm or the  following  egm which has now left us in the sutuation that we need to call a 3rd meeting .

Agms are a neccesary and  legal requirement of being a charity , We cant go forward without your approval.

We dont want to waste your time and ours by holding yet another meeting and not having enough menbers attend to go forward  so before we set another date which is likely to be at the begining of October . Please can you contact us to show your interest and support.

The Scrapstore couldn’t keep going without all of the fantastic volunteers who help out both in the store as well as behind the scenes, providing activities, running events, helping with the collections and of course all of the things that we do behind the scenes to keep the charity running.
We are in particular need of new trustees to enable us to meet the legal requirements of being a charity and to enable us to become stronger so that we will be able to deal with future challenges.
If you are interested in finding out more about what this entails or if you know someone who might be interested please get in touch for an informal chat.
Please let us know if you are able to support us   for any enquiries 02380 402812
