We are open!

Southampton Scrapstore reopened on 6th July. We are back to our normal opening hours where possible.

We have missed you all and look forward to welcoming you back. We are bursting at the seams with resources and hope you are able to find some interesting materials to spark your creativity. Please wear a mask and use the hand sanitiser provided.

All members who had a valid membership when we closed, received a three month extension on their membership to make up for the period we have been closed. We are now open in the school half terms and offer one day membership available in store.

We are welcoming new members, please complete an application form online.

Please bare with us, this is a new way of operating for us and we ask you follow the link to our updated Covid -19 compliant terms and conditions of membership.

All members must show their card to gain entry, if you have lost your card you will need to contact us at least 2 working days BEFORE your visit for a replacement card to be collected on the day of your visit. No card will mean no entry on that day.

Following us on Facebook is a great way to keep up to date on opening hours.

We are one of the oldest charities in Southampton, and hope to keep providing to the community for another 35 years plus. As a not-for-profit organisation, we will still be facing over heads, if you can help us in anyway, please let us know.

If your organisation would like to ‘sponsor us’, please get in touch. We will be checking our emails regularly. If your organisation can share our donate button and if possible – when everywhere reopens – have a donation pot for us, we would greatly appreciate the support.

Can you help us? How to make a donation

Southampton Scrapsore has been open for over 35 years providing a service to the community and doing our little bit for the environment at the same time. The charity can only keep open because of the dedicated team of volunteers who donate their time and skills, the organisations that provide materials for reuse, and the kind generosity of individuals who wish to support what we do and help us to keep going now and for the future.

We collect material donations from local businesses, but we also accept donations from members of public. If you have a donation you can contact us to arrange for a collection or drop it off to the store on a Thursday between 10.30am and 2.30pm.

The best way to support us is to buy and annual membership, however, If you would like to support us on a monetary basis, you can make a donation via PayPal . Another way that you can help is when you shop at Amazon using AmazonSmile at https://smile.amazon.co.uk/ch/292075-0 and Amazon donates to the Southampton Scrap Store, at no cost to you.

If you would like to get involved then please contact us.
