New Management Committee Members Needed

Volunteers are the store lifeblood and without them, around 48,000 children and 6,000 adults wouldn’t have access to low-cost resources.  We love to share ideas about reusing materials and encourage our volunteers and members to help us to do the same. We have been open for over 30 years and we have seen many changes and we wish to keep on doing the same for future generations.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for individuals who have a variety of skills and enthusiasm.

We urgently need a new secretary as our previous one has recently retired and our treasurer is due to retire later in the year. We feel strongly that a new trustee(s) will invigorate our organisation helping to create new ideas to enable us to grow and be more financially sustainable now and in the future.

We also welcome volunteers who able to provide new input in all areas and particularly individuals who are interested in assisting us to raise awareness about what we do, who can assist us to create new fundraising projects or and assist us to write funding bids/ grants are most welcome.

In addition to this we want to build up our existing committee so that there is a sharing of ideas and variety of skills More important than anything is an enthusiasm for the post and commitment to our small team a willingness to contribute useful skills to our organisation, who is willing to support for our efforts which can involve time and/or skills.
